Basking in Egypt's Gold by Art-of-Sekhmet Basking in Egypt's Gold by Art-of-Sekhmet
EDIT: Thank you kindly for the DD, and for your kind comments everyone.

Some were curious to know what was written in the suggestion note for the DD. ~Mystic-Cheetah said: "...If you want your mind blown thanks to overdetailing, this one's for you!...There's more detail not seen in the digital copy — the jewelry is iridescent gold! This is just one of those jawdropper pieces that come along very rarely."

Thank you again ~Mystic-Cheetah for suggesting and ^KovoWolf for featuring :)

-------------------------------

Almost forgot to upload this one ;_;

Note: I really appreciate critique, but please send it to me by note out of consideration for my customer :) Thank you!

Finished Commission for Duamutef ! He requested to have his fursona Duamutef(not to be confused with Anubis!) relaxing on a hammock tied to 2 date palm trees.

This piece took me much longer than expected, (besides having to work another job) there was a lot of new things for me here. Surprisingly I haven't done a broad daylight scene in ages so this was fun! I learned a lot.

The original has an iridescent gold sheen on all the jewelry. Looks quite neat in real life! Gold/ Silver watercolor paints are awesome.

8"x10" on arches satin finish watercolor paper.
Watercolor, colored pencil, gouache.

I hope you like it Duamutef :)

Thank you for looking everyone.

If you had read the description, you would have known it was not Anubis! :P
It is a character created by the commissioner, not meant to be Anubis :3

Wow, he's georgeous! I love the gods of the canopic jars!
It's nice to see pictures other than the "standard" gods and goddesses like Hathor, Seth (also he's one of my number ones ^.^) or Horus (who I don't like that much).

Does anyone know which internal organ her protects?
