Complete commission for xiao! (completed a few weeks back)

I rather like this as its a more illustrative approach to a character commission. The background took very long to color, yes! x.x

8"x10" on arches satin finished. Watercolor and colored pencil! Inked with micron pens and higgins/dr ph martin inks added for a rock texture effect.

Those of you who stated you were interested in commissions, please contact me to confirm you are still up for a commission/to save your spot :)

I'm still open should anyone be interested.

Very nicely done.
I'm quite impressed with the detail of your works as usual. That background for example is incredibly deep for being 2-d. The sky is exceptionally awesome.

Damn this looks amazing O_____O. You did a wonderful job on this, the colouring work is fantastic, I love the colour scheme. All of the warm earthy colours work together so well. And the shading is lovely too, the tones look so bold and smooth, I adore all of the attention you put into the fur texture. And the subtle highlighting looks brilliant as well. The background is awesome, the perspective work is so dynamic, it adds so much depth to the piece 8D and the angle is great as well :D. Nice job on the pose, you handled the anatomy really well, the foreshortening on the body is spot on. And the expression is so full of emotion and personality too. I agree with ~Dragonmanmike this is deserving of a DD 8DDD :+fav: Great job!!!
