I finished this a few days ago now, Im just slow with uploading to sites other than furaffinity.

Fire has a dual personality. It is the great destroyer, terrible and all consuming. Symbolic of war and chaos , and linked to the sun. Fire is associated with extreme emotions, the color red, and the masculine. On its more positive side, it symbolizes purification and regeneration, the home, hearth and divine love, passion, energy and creativity.

A red vixen poses with flame. I had no idea how to go about the background, so I made a golden sunset with lots of yellows oranges and browns with a hint of a volcanic mountain range in the front. I felt it was suiting. It was a challenge to balance all the like colors without losing the figure, but I think she still pops :) I didnt want her to be surrounded by non-fire related colors.

Im still getting used to doing elaborate backgrounds(by elaborate i mean something that isnt just a random watercolor wash to fill a white void), but it was good practice. It was referenced off of a google image.

That concludes the fire and ice series :) Twas fun.

Really nice,but I think if you did the fire in is hands and on her dead brighter (the center of the fire) our eye would bbe has much attrac to that bright sun in the right corner.

Oh and nice job with anatomy.

YAY you posted this one here tooooooo ^_^ Great work on thisssss :D the colours look fantastic :D the warm colour scheme is fantastic :D it really grabs your attention and draws you in :D and the shading work is brilliant as well :D especially on the outfit. The fur texture is really well rendered too ^_^ I love all of the different lengths of fur you have captured :D and it looks so realistic and layered too :D Great work on the background :aww: the colours look really smooth and blended :D and I adore the way the sun stands out :D Awesome job on the stance n_n her body language is really powerful and full of energy :D and you drew her anatomy overall really nicely 8D also I love the head angle :D the perspective work on the ears and muzzle looks really impressive n_n and I love the twist in her body as well :love: :+fav: Great job!!! :3

Truly stunning. She definitely pops out from the backdrop colors because of how the painstaking fur texture contrasts the more painterly look of the backdrop. The earthy warm colors establish the mood perfectly and are very pleasing to the eye... Mine, at least. ;p Wonderful, wonderful work! I especially admire that fur texture, as well as your excellent grasp on anatomy. Her torso came out especially well.
